Terms of Service

Effective: 20 July 2026

Summary: Weydom is an AI-powered educational and creative simulation service. It does not provide verified historical testimony, professional advice, or guaranteed factual accuracy.

1. Nature of the Service

Weydom provides artificial-intelligence-driven historical, philosophical, political, and public-persona simulations. The people represented by the service are not participating in the conversation. Generated responses are synthetic interpretations produced by AI systems and may contain errors, invented details, misattributions, anachronisms, or other inaccuracies.

2. Accounts and Acceptable Use

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not use Weydom to violate applicable law, interfere with the service, bypass usage controls, gain unauthorized access, scrape proprietary databases or retrieval content, or attempt to extract protected system prompts, model weights, credentials, or private user information.

3. Plans and Usage Limits

Weydom may offer a Free tier and paid subscription plans. At launch, the paid plans available for purchase are Thinker and Scholar. Philosopher is marked Coming Soon and is not available for purchase. Plan features, usage allowances, debate-participant limits, model access, and response limits are displayed in the application and may be updated prospectively.

4. Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew according to the billing interval shown at checkout unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel an active subscription through the billing portal where available. Cancellation prevents future renewals according to the option selected in the billing portal; cancellation does not automatically refund earlier charges.

5. Accuracy and No Reliance

Weydom does not guarantee that any generated text is accurate, complete, current, or reliable. Outputs are not literal quotations unless independently verified against a cited source. Do not rely on Weydom as the sole source for academic citation, historical verification, legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions.

6. Public Personas and Character Representation

Simulations involving historical figures, living people, political personalities, or other public personas are generated for educational, analytical, and creative purposes. Outputs do not represent the actual views, endorsements, statements, or conduct of the represented individual.

7. Third-Party AI and Infrastructure Providers

Weydom may route prompt text and related context through third-party infrastructure and AI providers, including Modal, OpenRouter, and downstream model providers selected through OpenRouter. Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Provider availability and data-handling practices may change.

8. User Content and Generated Output

You retain rights you already hold in content you submit. Subject to applicable law and the terms of any underlying model provider, you may use the specific generated transcripts returned to your account. Weydom does not guarantee that generated output is unique, non-infringing, or eligible for intellectual-property protection in every jurisdiction.

Weydom retains all rights in its software, branding, interface, retrieval architecture, fine-tuned model assets, curated datasets, source registries, prompts, and other proprietary service components. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit proprietary service components except where applicable law expressly permits it.

9. Availability and Changes

The service may be modified, suspended, rate-limited, or interrupted for maintenance, security, provider outages, capacity constraints, or other operational reasons. Features described as planned, beta, experimental, or Coming Soon are not guaranteed to launch.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Weydom is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

11. Refunds

Refund and cancellation requests are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Statutory rights that apply in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
